Last Kiss
I long for the days of old
When the skies seemed bluer
The grass green and tender
Under bare feet.
I can still smell the heather
The lilacs intertwining with the
Mighty Oak tree.
It was under the boughs
As the twilight dew fell
He bent to kiss me.
